Connacht Cups – Opening Weekend Round-Up

The first rounds of the Connacht Cups were played over the weekend, well done to all the winners now into 'the hat' for Round 2.

Thanks to the repêchage format, teams who came up short on the pitch will be drawn into Round 1 of the Connacht Trophy.  It’s a great way to keep more teams engaged and ensure that one early defeat doesn’t end their conn cups 'season'.

Attention now turns to the SFAI regional rounds, which take centre stage for the coming period. Connacht Cup/Trophy Draws and next round details will be communicated in due course.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to the football played across the region, clubs, coaches, volunteers, referees, admins and families. The collective effort is phenomenal.
